Kathlour Wildlife Sanctuary is like a peaceful haven for many kinds of animals, from deer to partridges to pythons! It's a great place for tourists to come and see these animals living freely in their natural homes.
To make sure the animals are safe, the sanctuary is divided into three zones: the eco-sensitive zone, the buffer zone, and the core zone. Visitors can only go into the eco-sensitive zone to minimize disturbance to the wildlife.
But don't worry, there are special ways for tourists to explore! An 11-seater golf cart, which is quiet and doesn't pollute, is available to take people around. Plus, there's a 5-km nature trail for those who prefer to walk or cycle.
And guess what? There's even an island in the middle of the sanctuary! You can relax at the cafeteria or climb up one of the two 30-feet towers for a stunning view of the surroundings.
Plan your visit according to the season. In summer, the sanctuary is open from 8:00 am to 12 noon and 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, while in winter, it's open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. And the best part? It's open every day of the week!
